the one and only problem i've ever heard about them is the light doesn't shine down quite as much as the pop-ups since the eastbear's sit a few inches lower. Farther ahead (where your looking anyway) they are fine.

I dont know anything about the installation. But I like your body kit. Do you just have the front bumper, and side kit? Where did you purchase that kit? any links or website?

So I guess you're not getting the S15 front end, or S13 Silvia front end ....

SO I would say the east-bear doesn't light as well as a good pair of Hella H4, but if you don't do much night driving .... get'em ....

ok.. yeah well i already ordered, the eastbears, but i wanted to let my da read what u guys thought of em, i ordered a new frotn bumper, carbon fiber hood, and the eastbears, i'm getting all my work done right now @ speedline, and they are going to paint everything, even doorjams trunk jams and engine jams, silver with a black speckle... that way it matches my hood i alos order a new carbon fiber wing, as well as gunmetal rims.. i'll post pics in about tow weeks when i'm done.. alright thanx for the replies u guys.. later

I personally don't like the way they look. They seem to brak up the lines of the car a bit. The covered fixed ones, are sweet though.

or instead of the eastbear kit, get a variable headlight pop up controller and put in tiny side by side projector headlights instead of the big rectangular picture frame headlights and have headlights only pop up 3 or 4 inches. i'm going to look into that when i get back to the states.
you can find the controllers at:
http://www.optauto.com
but as far as your dad's approval, i have no problem with the eastbear headlight kit. they look really good. if i had an extra $600 to spend on one, i'd def get it.
