My sr is pritty much stock i have 600cc injectors and a supra tt fuel pump i have a greddy profec b boost controller and the apexi fc im running on a tune for this setup but i think my seals are starting to go due to the oil smell in my exhaust when i boost and sometimes on normal driving so i am looking for a small upgrade like a T3T4 turbo but i want to make sure what trim level is safe im not looking for huge numbers im looking to be safe it is daily driven so what trim level? and (AR.)spec should i go for ?

the smoke out of your exhaust could be the seals in the turbo..
you should do a compression test on the motor before thinking of upgrading the turbo..
if your compression numbers are low, you should maybe hold off on the new turbo and save for a rebuild..
but if your motor is good.. a cheap and easy upgrade is an BB s15 gt28.. or a little motor cash and you could get a gt2871r which is a sweet turbo
on my car i have a top mounted turbonetics 56 trim.. it spools kinda late but on a pretty much stock motor i make 338 at the wheels and its my daily

After the past few cars in the shop I can definitely say the 2871R is a great option...especially since it's bolt up...if you're considering T3/T4 already then i would say look into the .86 turbine version. Makes a bit more power and torque only a tiny tiny bit laggier but a great turbo...Also the injectors will be good to 15-18 psi boost levels on pump gas which should net you some serious power (320-375 WHP)
Good job going with PFC / EMS early on man!
