Because I have very little time to deal with this, I am looking for a buyer that is interested in a project car. I beg your forgiveness in advance for sounding rude - it is only because my time is limited.
- PLEASE please no ridiculous offers or people looking to testdrive and waste my time.
- The car is by no means perfect. If you are looking for a perfect car, this is not it.
A lot of the parts on the car is new, the work is done right, but it is still in essence a 14 year old car folks!
I'm a believer in full disclosure, so I'll start with what's wrong with the car:
- chassis is still a 14 year old chassis. Car steers and handles fine, but there are the usual old S13 clunks (not to be confused with old_s13 clunks ;) ). Usual TC bushings, that kind of stuff will need to be done eventually.
- interior is that from a 14 year old car. A crack in the dash. I cleaned up most of the stuff but it is a little worn.
- last owner botched the paint job. From the front fenders forward the car is beautiful. All parts to the aft of the front fenders have problem areas that are cracking and will need to be repainted (if you care about that kind of stuff). you really don't notice when the car is 20 ft away, but up close it's evident.
- as with many SRd cars I've seen.. there is no A/C
- car runs fine - doesn't overheat at all, but really should get a fan shroud.
Other than that, the car drives very well, and hauls ***. The motor is one of the cleaner swaps I've seen. I CURRENTLY DRIVE THIS CAR TO WORK EVERYDAY.
