Ok so here is the deal I recently got a s13 with a KADE and the car was running a bit rich drove it home and it ran strong just had lots of black smoke .so in the pass couple days I been trying to get the car to start for some reason it just turns over but doesn't start .the only way to start it is by spraying brake cleaner in the throttle body ... Now the thinks I have check and change are
Fuel filter and replace it
I check maf
Did full tune up
now I think it might be the fuel pump or the injectors what do u guys think also when the car would idle it would shake a little ...

FSM = Factory Service Manual.
Use the SEARCH function here on Zilvia to find a webpage that has a Factory Service Manual for you to download & read. Find the appropriate FSM for your model year car.
Your running rich issues could be due to several reasons: 1). Your fuel pressure regulator is NOT working or not getting vacuum 2). You may have a bad or leaky fuel injector 3). You may have a bad Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, 4). You may have a bad Oxygen sensor or 5). Whomever tuned up your car, may have set the Idle too high allowing too much fuel into your combustion chamber.
All these items should be checked following the directions / service procedures listed in the Factory Service Manual. Once you get everything checked out & tuned to factory setting, you should have been able to solve whatever your problem may be. You may also want to check your vacuum lines & intake piping for cracking & tears. You should NOT spray brake cleaner into your throttle body. ONLY use carb cleaner OR throttle body cleaner.
If none of this helps, use your Factory Service Manual to put your Engine Control Unit, (ECU) into Diagnostic Mode & see what Diagnostic Trouble Codes your ECU kicks out
Anyhow, let us know what happens after you check everything. Hope this helps....

You shouldn't.....a lot of people here on Zilvia started out the same way you did....not knowing a thing. But they've learned over time....just like you will.
