DNA = cheapo crap, buy something that will actually help you in an accident not kill you

This is just one of those things you should never "Cheap-out." On, brand new harness's can be had for a few hundred bucks. Save up and buy a quality harness.

Yeah, Takata knock-offs... Run away.

Then again, I'd run away from legit Takatas, but that's just me.

Yeah dude, i've seen used Sparcos go for under $150.
But then again, you can't put a price on your life, can you?

oh wait, $80 bucks sounds about right.

do u have a roll cage or at least a roll bar in your car?

if u dont, u dont need a harness it will be more dangerious to have a harness in the car w/o a bar or cage.

Check out RJS Harnesses. Off road guys use them, so our 18 yo+ cars should be alright with them. Annnnnddd, not that expensive, and customizable.

Yeah, I am currentally building a roll cage in my car. While I am on the topic of the seatbelts I have seen a lot of people using these NRG racing seats no to me I don't know if those are the best brand in the world. Like I know that sparco and bride are the best, but how are NRG and Corbeau seats?
Corbeau FX1 Seat - Black Cloth for 89-94 Nissan 240sx at Andy's Auto Sport (http://www.andysautosport.com/nissan/1989_1994_240sx/interior/seats/racing_seats/corbeau/corb00208652.html)
and this
NRG Racing Seats - Carbon Fiber Bucket (Large) for 89-94 Nissan 240sx at Andy's Auto Sport (http://www.andysautosport.com/nissan/1989_1994_240sx/interior/seats/racing_seats/nrg/nrgi00204502.html)
but not the carbon fiber I don't really care about making my car that much lighter. And I am going with sparco seat belts so you guys can all breathe easy haha. Thank you guys for all the help.

STFU - buy a Simpson.

As cheap as $120, and a solid 6pt for $160. The shit meets all your FIA/NASA/NHRA requirements depending on what series you go with.

Also, please remember a harness can only be "used" once. In an accident the fibers give and stretch, absorbing the impact. You can't "reuse" it safely after that. Also, harness are only certified/safe for a given amount of time. The fabrics eventually relax and may give much in an accident if the belt is old.

Sparco and Bride are the best racing seats?

You have a lot of learning to do. Brides are not even FIA approved and most Sparcos arent either (not sure but I think they have a few models that ARE approved). There are far better bucket seats out there than either of these brands. OMP, Recaro, stuff that is actually designed and tested for safety in the event of an accident, not how much street cred the sparkly shell provides. Sparco harnesses suck as well and are only for show cars stuck in 1999.

Granted I do have a Sparco in my car but it was dirt cheap and is only temporary. I wouldnt consider it "good" in really any category, let alone "best". Please be careful mounting your harnesses as well. Too much of an angle from your shoulders will compress your spine in the event of an accident. PLEASE RESEARCH FIRST.

i have those harnesses on mah 240

theyre d0p3 y0

seriously, takaka-style green so ppl know ur dropping cash on these fuckers. when ppl see ur car, they understand u meaan business

they hold me good into my seat. i use both harnesses on one seat becuz 1 time i was driving and one of them unbuckled when i was brakking hard. but that was only once, and hard braking. so now i have double failsaif protecshun

i dont rlly care about the passgr.. let them use stock belt. some people say you need a roll bar in caze you flip BUT, i dont flip. plus, i have a hard head and wear a helmet in school all the time.. so i am used to always wearing a helmet.

helmets are cool, people thiumk youre racing everywhere you go. even in school.
