SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD! For Sale: 1995 Nissan 240SX - S14 Shell - RB25 Swap Ready! - Clean title in hand - $1700 OBO - SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!

For sale is a 1995 240SX shell. There is no engine or transmission included. There is an R33 Skyline GTS-T Engine Crossmember (for an RB25DET) currently installed in the car, I have the original KA crossmember also in case you are interested in putting an SR or KA in there instead of an RB.
Located in East-Central Florida.

This car is a fantastic swap candidate. I bought this car as a shell from the previous owner who was in the process of swapping in another KA and changing the car from an automatic to a manual. I probably paid a little too much for it back then when the economy was a bit better and 240SX's were very hot, but this car was exactly what I was looking for in an RB25DET swap car. The car is straight in all the places you care about, and completely rust free.

The interior is absolutely mint for a car this age, the seats have a little wear/stain going on, but overall they are nice. I bet a steam cleaning or some elbow grease would make the seats nearly good as new. The dash / gauge cluster / door panels are great. You get the idea, the interior is really a strong point of this car.

The quarterpanels, fenders and doors are straight. Obviously, the faded maroon paint kind of sucks, but I'm the kind of guy who doesn't care about paint until I have everything else perfect. The paint is coming off of the bumpers, but the bumpers themselves are in good shape. The trunk is tweaked a little and needs some adjustment, and the hood has a dent in it, as you can see in the pictures. I was just going to strip the paint off an do a black vinyl wrap on the whole car until it was paint time.

The engine bay and some of the trans tunnel has been fully prepped and then sprayed with black truck bed liner. It's one of my favorite things about the car.

The car also has been "converted" to a manual, clutch pedal and master cylinder have been installed.

These wheels are not on the car anymore and are back on another car, the car currently has steelies on it.

Throw me an offer in my email if you don't feel it's a fair price, the worst I can say is no, or I will just give you a counter offer.

I have already installed an R33 engine crossmember into the shell. They are not easy to find and not cheap. You can't go to your local junkyard and grab one. I am including the original x-member also. I have also prepped and hit the engine bay with bed liner. I've got the full, nice harness ready with this shell that you will need for your conversion, whatever conversion that may be.

This car isn't perfect, but as Zenki shells go, this isn't your average beat to shit rust pocked car.

Like I said though, I'm open to offers, just offer what you think is fair. I'm getting a fair amount of hits on it at this price.

Thanks for your time,

- JP

The price is too HIGH!!! for $1700 you can buy a good running s14.. (I bought 2 of them recently, one of them IS IMMACULATE, but needs an auto tranny)
for this shell 900-1000 bux is a fair price

If it helps, I would buy this for $1700 if I could =). I've been trying to save up for a RB swap, but I'm just too broke for it lol!
GLWS man, don't go below 1500!

:trogdor:

So you're telling me you bought an immaculate S14 with a bad tranny. Which means you've got a $50 KA with it, and also means your "running car" isn't such a good runner.

Mine has the engine bay prepped and linered, a $250 Skyline crossmember already fully installed, a straight body, no rust and great undercarriage (paint is weak obviously, but who cares on a project car), IMMACULATE interior, full nice wire harness for swapping, everything you need in a car for a swap. I've also got some 5-lug hubs and wheel bearings that will go with the car.

People who are going to swap a car, especially an RB swap, don't give a crap about having the KA and a bad tranny. KAs are like tires here, people just swap them around, rebuild them with old parts, and blow them up like they are worthless. They care about what this car has. I know this because I was in the process of swapping this car. That's my opinion of course, you are welcome to your own opinion.

ANYWAY! It also says OR BEST OFFER, so if you don't feel the price is fair, feel free to send me the offer you feel is fair!

Thanks for the post, I also have the prepped/modded RB25DET and transmission for sale!

I know economic times aren't the greatest, I feel you. I bought this car when 240s were the hotness and everyone had to have one, and also right before the economy took a dump. I paid more for this car than what it is listed at right now, then I put hundreds of dollars and hours of work into it to get it ready for my swap and clean it up. That doesn't make me happy that I have to take such a hit on it, but I need to sell the car and I know that's what I gotta do to get rid of it.

The economy is the exact reason I am getting rid of this car. I already have a swapped 88' Supra and cannot begin to afford working on two swapped cars after going through job trouble.

Someone will come along who really wants what this car offers and will be able to capitalize on it, hopefully someone looking to do an RB swap who can use the Skyline crossmember that is installed. If not, we can talk about swapping the crossmember to stock and discounting the car.
I may just have to wait awhile till the right person looking for something like this comes along, I'm not in a rush to get rid of it yet.

Sent you a PM on your offer.

It has nothing to do with the recession haha, it's a known fact Zilvians are cheap as fuck. Man that car is SOLID, and definitely worth the asking price, if not more. For what it is don't lower the price man. GLWS!
