On my KA-T since my tire wore through the wiring harness including the wires for my profec b spec II the car wont boost past 4psi. Normally I am running 12psi with the profec b. I redid the harness and reconnected the white and green wires for the profec b back together and the device is showing me how much boost/vacuum I am at but no matter how I adjust it, it wont raise the boost.
I'm actually pretty frustrated with the profec b and would rather go with a quality MBC like a hallman or turbosmart. First I'd like to test what psi spring is in my tial wastegate. I don't want to take it apart so my question is how do I run the vacuum lines.
Right now I have a line from the throttle body Tee'd off to the BOV and the nipple on the top of the wastegate. I gave it a run and it boosted to like 15psi before I let off so i'm guessing thats wrong. My turbo is a turbonetics 50 trim and it has a nipple on the front i have that hooked up to the other nipple on the middle of the wastegate. I was going to switch them up but I dont want to overboost it and fuck it up. Its built but I dont want to chance it.
Any help would be appreciated. If you need me to draw a diagram let me know.
