my really slow s13 coupe build thread

well i bought my first coupe i think last year, i got it for $800 which was deals
its a 1992 coupe, stock height, 4inch truck tip straight pipe, base model, 5speed, it had a sohc engine in it, weld diff :), 144k miles on the body and 90k miles on the sohc.

after that i installed some tein s tech springs with stock struts. and tanabe medalion exhaust, i regret selling my truck tip, but got lots of complains about my exhaust, so yeah. i got a new front end cos it had starches,and it was rusting, i also got the s13 SE wing, and painted it black because i was so bored.

couple months passed by and got some JIC coilovers from my friend got it for $120 NOT BLOWN he sold it to me because he got some k sports. and got some OEM mud guards,c- pillar bar, s14 seats and took some pix with couple of my friends.

what the hell... a chuki coupe with a SOHC but I guess it doesnt matter since you plan on going SR. Other chuki bumper looked fine to me. Take your time and save your money dont just go the cheap way and buy junk parts. Remember you gota pay to play. GL

couldnt be better said then that. go too fast and buy junk parts youll regret it for sure. good luck with your build im also in the process of a build(92 vert with silvia front) hopefully itll be done by this winter so i can make a thread and see what everyone thinks. keep us updated!

wtf is that hanging off your rear tow hook? Nissan doesnt equal ricey honda look alike!!! on another note doesnt look to bad good pick up... and if your talking bout saving money why dont you just build the sohc or swap to dohc much cheaper than the sr... and when turbo can push the same amount... but good luck none the less

Man, I thought my '93 SE for $900 is a score but am not so sure once I saw yours is a 5 spd.

We're pretty much on the same slow boat LOL but I have gone a little bit ahead of you on the 5 lug conversion and brake upgrade. SR swap is ahead of me as well.
