Hello, I recently pulled out my motor, and took it out step by step, the last thing i've come upon is a rod bearing that is bent a bit. It fits if you put the rod bearing onto the crank first, then the block cover cap, but if you put it on the block thing, it is loose and falls out like nothing, about 2 mm's of space on one side.
I was wondering if i should continue using it or should i replace it while the engine is out and im right here?
If so, can someone link me to a site that sells cheap rod bearings, as a single, or maybe someone has one laying around that is good? I just need one. Unless someone can link me to a whole set for a pretty good price, i would really, really appreciate it, thanks! :)

Don't use it. DO NOT USE IT. DONT USE IT.
Get your crank checked, and rods checked, and then figure out the clearances. And THEN buy your bearings, as a set! Do not buy just one!

Thanks, i was about to put it together. When the car was out it ran perfect, had no knocks of any sort, and ran smooth. Just changed the piston rings/ oil rings because of smoke exerting the exhaust. I placed the order on new rod bearings, thanks.

put all new stuff in it!!! do it right the first time. rings, bearings, seals, gaskets ect.
i work in a hobby shop(place were military can rent shop space) and for some reason people like to pull a motor, tear it down find the problem replace it then put the old shit back in. then they come back within a month or two with a huge rod knock or somthing. i can no joke count 4 times this has happened lol. if its worth doing its worth doing right.

Did you replace your valve seals? checked for exhaust leaks?

i did not replace them, because i got them checked at a shop. the engine has low mileage and they weren't pushed in at all. While i had the head off, i changed the head gasket and resurfaced the head. One cylinder was warped so i got it honed and replaced the oil/piston rings along with the rod bearings.
