Nissan's new Allure Concept previews what their new sedans will look like.

I think it's hot.

I see a lot of the stylist themes from the Infiniti M carried over.
It's a bit conservative, but would be a welcome change (if not improvement) over Nissan's lineup.
I don't mind the aggressive, sharp lines.
I don't care for the distracting chrome grille & guady wheels.

Most of Nissan's ideas seem fresh when first revealed, but seem to get old fast.
few of their models released in the last decade really stand the test of time well.
Even the Z32 is more of a classic than the Z33 imo.

If I had to guess, this would be the much needed Altima re-design.

Much better than the ugly stuff Honda puts out!

you would probably be one of the few who even pays honda any attention these days.
(much less consider them any form of benchmark at all)
Honda is depressing.

You know Honda has fallen from grace when Kia and Hyunai are making better looking cars. It's rumored Honda is going to stop selling the Civic in Japan. They've only sold like 450 units in Japan this year.

I swear I see hints of Toyota prius in it lol.

Digging that windshield. I like the improvement because nissans lineup now is shameful. ex: Juke = Poop

It does look pretty sick, I like the body lines.
I'd be curious to see what bodykit companies could come up with for this car (as well as all the other "future-styled" cars), I think they look mad good the way they debut them

I can definitely see the Altima picking up some of those design cues.

yeah, i was gonna say it reminds me of >o< too much, which makes it weird. i dont see how you would like that fact cuz in no way does it make it look sleek or fast. the third picture reminds me of a newer civic. maybe some sharper body lines here and there, but has a similar overall curvature.

suicide doors hell yeas.

that bigass burger king grill is fuckin rad.

I am not a fan of the "car of tomorrow" design style but for the most part it looks like a nice car. It would be great if the suicide doors made it to production.

I wonder if this is going to be a new model. It seems lately that Nissan only shows off concepts that are close to production or could be easily produced.

EDIT
I would MUCH rather see this driving around than the Juke or bs convertible Morano.

change up the grill and wheels. other than that, i like it.

I'm really digging this car the more I look at it. The short over hangs are great.

Does any one else get an all wheel drive feeling from this? EDIT: Apparently Nissan is saying it's a hybrid :(

its going to be lame wheel drive hybrid.

hate it, like it. Some good idea's with some bad idea's not feeling the boxy side shit. Just not into door sil landings. LOL

Oh and it does have I am a hybrid written all over it. As it comes straight out of the Hybrid design language coming out of Japan of late.

you guys did notice that it does say 'hybrid' on the door. Right? Lol

lol

I didn't even look at the pics Exit posted. The pictures I had seen didn't have that on the doors.

The rear looks great, with that aggressive stance and all. Kinda liking the glass top too. Suicide doors are a win. Not a fan of that whole motif Nissan has going with their headlights as of late.

This is definitely the new Altima. No doubt about it. It's not quit close production concept like Nissan has been releasing over the last few years. But the over-all shape of everything is doable in production, sans the dope ass doors, the ride height, and the wheels.

Nissan announced previously that the next gen Altima was going to be a bigger player in the Hybrid segment. The Altima Hybrid now is a joke, and was more of them just getting their feet wet. But you can see with the Leaf that Nissan is about more efficient vehicles for the future.

Also expect this car to be a good amount lighter then the current Altima. Maybe by a couple hundred lbs.

I digg this... (one of the best looking hybrids thus far imo)

With a drop and nice rims, this can potentially get that VIP look

Don't particularly care for the way the grill was done, but other than that I really like it. Proportions are very nice, detailing is nice. It certainly is a big improvement over the current Altima, which I think looks rather cheap.

I'm not too crazy about the looks of the Juke, but at least Nissan is willing to step out on a limb a bit style-wise. Car design is way too conservative, and really has only changed mildly since the '80s. Think of how crazy it would have been living at the beginning of the 20th century and watching car design, the drastic changes in design between the '10s, 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's. Car design was changing wildly. Now it's basically the same thing year after year, with just minor tweaks.

Yes. But they will never make it to production.

I think they could but probably wont. It would be great to see them go in more than pickups and RX-8s.

Oh, no doubt they could. They could also make a new 240.

But we know how willing they would be to do either. :tardrim:
