Hey every one I'm trying to get my car back together and I need your help. I've searched n I didn't find much but I'd like to do a complete chassis harness on my s13. I have a general idea on what to do and what I want. I was hoping someone could help clarify how to wire up my chassis from scratch. I want to just have the essentials. Thanks all

Your gunna get alot of answers like^^^ if your not specific. There are alot of guys that love wiring questions if your really specific about what you want in your question. Id start off with at least what the "essentials" means to you...

I have a general idea but I'm still confused about a few things and I need your help. I would like to wire up my chassis to a switch panel but retain my keyed ignition so I can still daily the car and have some peace at mind. I kno that everything has to be fused and has to have a realy. Here's what I have so far and I hope u can give m some insight. The car will be part daily and mainly track. I would like to wire up the following... Lights- tail, headlights, sidemarkers, turnsignals, hazards, brake, dome, and lichense plate. For the lights I would like to use the switch on the steering column. I also would like to wire up the windshield *wipers to the factory steering column switch and have a cigaret lighter. I'd like to wire the fuel pump, gauges, and fans to switches and have a push to start. I'd also like to wire up a basic radio. Here at the switches I'd like to run acc, ign, gauges, fuel, fans, and a push start. On the acc switch I'd like to have the radio, lights, cig lighter and wipers to work. For the ign I'd like the ecu to get power. For majority of the wiring I was going to use 14g wiring, 10g for fan wiring, 8g for alternator and starter, and 0g for bat power and ground. 20a fuses for headlights l&r, cig lighter, gauges, radio, ecu, fans, fuel pump, windshield wipers. 10a fuses for hazards, turn signals l&r, brake lights, tail lights, sidemarkers, dome light, license plate light. 100amp fuse for alternator. 40amp relays for all. A battery cutoff. I'm confused on the wiring for the charging system. I kno that I need the fuses before the relays and that the grounds need to be as short and best connection as possible. Starter is jut power to starter. Brake light is just the regular switch and to use the steering column switched I need to look up the fsm for pinout. I'd like to put the fuses and relays underneath the dash where I can get to the easily on the passenger side firewall. *All i'n all I hope I'm somewhat correct and that u can help thanks.

Sounds to me like you know exactly what you want to do, and have a reasonably good idea of how to accomplish it. So, what exactly are you asking us?
