Finally got my car out of the shop been driving for 2 to 3 days working great! then today this morning I realized that the car would start shaking when I was on a complete stop. I later found out that one of the spark plugs wasnt connected to the distributor and i drove around about 30 miles using basically only 3 pistons. After I plugged it in everything worked fine and I was able to drive 30 miles home. My question is if theres damage to the engine alrdy having driven 30 miles with 3 pistons working? how can i fix it (if there is a prob) before it starts like locating the area? will the car be fine? should I be worried?
sorry still pretty noob at this.
thanks for your help in advance!

haha should be no damage
are you saying the WIRE was not connected to the spark plug or the WIRE was not connected to the Dizzy?
Either way you didnt get spark
that spark plug is probably drenched in fuel as is the cylinder.
Pull the plug dry it off, clean it,or replace it whatever you wanna do.
reconnect and fire it back up.
Check the oil though to make sure too much fuel didnt saturate it

if any damage it would be to the cat because all the excuse fuel that is not being burned in the cly. is burned in the cat so it super heats (possible melting the waffle plate thingy inside it) it but your probably fine. + what above said...

if anything, pull the plug and clean it off.
shouldn't be any sort of damage done.
