I just recently bought a 240sx 1992, odometer reads 230,000 but the guy who sold it to me said theres a 95 engine in it with 120,000 on it. Both 95 and 92's are KA24DE, so is there any way I can tell if the motor is a 95? And is there any sort of diagnostic test I can do to check how many miles is on the engine?

You can check the vin on the engine.
Nissan VIN Decoding (http://www.nissanhelp.com/diy/common/nissan_vin.htm)

If it has the 95 cylinder head then look so see how many valve cover bolts are on the top inline with the spark plug holes.. If there are 3 then it's a s13 (up to 94) engine and if it's 2 then its a s14 95+ engine.. And there is no diagnostic test that you can hook up to the engine to find how many miles it has..
