i have a question: when you thread it on, can you simply remove it by unthreading it? (unscrewing) or does it lock?

so you can easily twist it off? My main concern is just driving around and then it spinning from daily use, i won't wanna deal with having to twist it constantly

nah it wont, once u screwed it on there, it should stay...however I have not used the nismo so i'm not 100% sure
I've had a few aftermarket knob, none of them "came loose" unintentionally.
plus the nismo is OEM and very popular among the nissan people, im sure you can find some review on it easily

I have the nismo knob i think theres a plastic insert inside of it preventing it from just unscrewing, and unless you keep taking it off and wearing out the plastic you shouldnt have a problem. GLWS
