I did a search and didnt find anything. Is it worth the $45? Does the Nismo logo wear off quickly? Also does it matter if I get the long or the short key if I have a 90 fast back?

its a key....i use a home depot one. it turns on the car too
toomuch for a little 'bling'
the bling to money ratio is not good.
logo wont wear i know a few people w/ it
if you want super rare, get a blank 180sx key. i think they are out of production ;)

The Nismo does wear off and get the short key. I have the long and I can't put the key all the way in when starting my car (gotta find the sweet spot)
Not worth the money IMHO but my wife bought it for me for on of my b-day gifts

I'm with dousan on this one (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31798&highlight=key) the $1.50 black plastic handled home depot key is the way to go.

i think that's a better question to ask yourself..
Is $45 better spent on a KEY or on something else?

I hate to pry dousan (well not really) but any idea were to find such a key?
And it's either this key or some burberry touch colgne. It doesnt need to be my birthday for those extra "favors".

Can anyone find a picture of a 180sx key. I would like to see what it looks like. or even just describe it.

Well its a key with a black head, and has the plain 180SX logo on it. Nothing to fancy. THESE ARE JUST KEYS. JESUS.

IMHO, No way...
I felt like a punk when I spent 11 bucks on a NISMO key chain.
I see it this way, for that price i could buy maybe 30 spare keys,
two weeks of gas, two or three cd's, 2 lap dances.
But if your rich go for it.

How much stuff do people put on there car just to look good. Sure body kits are aero dynamic but people buy them mostly cause they look good. Nobody would customize there car if it didnt look good too!

C'mon now, what kind of statement is that? I'd drive a Gremlin if it ran even 12's and got a .90 on the skidpad. For some of us, looks are a distant second to performance... looks are like a bonus, if they're there great, but not a requirement... at least IMHO
edit: btw, $45 for a friggin key is nuts.

If you want a new key then get it, $45 is alot for a key though. Personally I want a new key also, the home depot specials I have now just don't cut it for me, I just want stock :o

Use the money on maintenance for your car instead, IMO.

well, i'm sitting here at work and i just had an idea. Can't you just get a blank nissan key with the black sleeve and then go to like an ingraver and have them put the 180sx logo on it if you give them the font and style? or would all that work still add up to +/-45.00

oh yeah? the only reason i have not yet taken a dremel to my front bumper and hood for ducts/vents is because i'm too lazy to get a fiberglass repair kit to smooth out the transitions :D

haha, well i was planning on making a little lip around the radiator vent on the hood, not really enough to call it "ducting" but to help smooth out the airflow... still undecided on it though :D
