Okay so i just bought a clutch and all im missing is the throw out bearing, ive called a few nissan dealerships and gave them the part #30502-21000, and they told me the TOB they had is for a regualr 2.4l KA motor, not sure if it will fit my exedy stage 2 clutch ( Exedy 06950B High Performance Stage 2 Clutch Kit S13 S14 SR20DET (http://www.frsport.com/Exedy-06950B-High-Performance-Stage-2-Clutch-Kit-S13-S14-SR20DET_p_1206.html) ) my car is a 90' 240 HB with a 95 s14 notchtop motor, So im wondering if thats the correct throwout bearing i need for my car or not and if not where is a good place to get one. Thx for reading

Wow what an awful question. Very basic research could have answered this.

Well instead of just answering it if it was simple you had to be a little smart ass, what a prick.

He's making a valid point though, searching can answer many questions, yours included. But wtv, the ka24e/de and sr20 use the same tranny so yes the tob is the same, I believe theres a Z one that works too

i believe it does, we put a exedy stage 1 clutch on a friends car w/ the oem TOB and it ran fine. but ive bought a clutch that came with the TOB all together, but i bought it new , not sure if u did

depending on the clutch it might use a different TOB. when i was installing my osgiken twin i had to order a different TOB and sleeve from nissan off some datsun truck to make it work (it was smaller). so like i said before, call exedy and ask them to make sure what you need to get.

Okay the answer is that in some cases they ARE the same and you can use either one, but in other cases, they are NOT the same.
I would just do the research to find out which works for your application if I were you.

I do believe that multi plate clutches are the only ones that use a diff tob(smaller do to space being consumed by the extra friction discs).

When I had a Honda and bought a throw out bearing from Honda for say 60 bucks but first I had checked a small local store and it was 35 and they were identical... But when u buy certain own parts if they come completely sealed then they are true oem if not they are aftermarket. A budy works at Toyota and some of the dealers do that with certain parts
