View Full Version : CA Low mileage KA24DE (needs timing chain) and Tranny. Cheap!!

Hi, I have a KA24DE Im going to be pulling out of my '91 Coupe. It has 128,xxx original miles and ran well before the timing chain busted. Turns over fine just wont start needs a timing chain, might as well rebuild it while its out. I also have the tranny to go with it if anyone wants that as well. Tranny goes into every gear smooth, unsure of what clutch it has but it feels good. Just need to get rid of both of these... Will post pics in about an hour.

Motor (needs timing chain)- $300

Tranny- $200

are the valves still good though? cuz if its just the timing chain, i think ill consider buying this.

Previous owner said all it needed was a timing chain so Im assuming the head is fine, but I haven't taken the head off to actually check it.
