when i turn on my car the clutch feels as if its not working i have to push it all the way in and it feels soft
i have to pump it like 10 times before it can catch a gear. IT WILL NOT GRAB THE GEAR WITHOUT DOING THAT..
ive tried to force it down alittle once and heard some grinding noisee
what can it be.??
wat can i do about it

please helppp.!!!!!

also i was on the freeway bout 7 miles away from my house going about 60mph on 5th gear as i started to see some light smoke alittle less smoke then a lit cigarette barley noticable but was there=[

It most certainly can be, which should bring up the following things to look at:

1. Where is it leaking?
2. How to fix it.

Clutch Master cylinders are known to leak/fail. Non OEM ones are known to be equal junk as well, so be aware. As before, read that thread above, it will go over the system and get you pointed in the right direction in regard to diagnosis.

I'd replace the clutch slave cylinder. Its less than 20 dollars and easy to replace. Most likely its the master or slave.
