SARD injectors NEED HELP

I recently bought a SARD 550cc injectors for my KA24DET that was advertise to fit both a KA and an SR, however when I brought it back to my mechanic he said that they would not fit and that they were too long. Does anyone know if I just got rip off for these or is there a certain way that you have to install these injectors?

Do they come with the kit? I bought the whole thing new and I didn't open up the plastic bag with all the extra in it before I gave it to my mechanic (stupid I know)

I have read about changing the o-rings on the injectors. The sard o-rings do not fit. You need oem spec o-rings. Click on the pics on this link. They talk about it in the pics on here.

I tried switching the O ring with my SR20 370cc injectors 0 ring and it wouldn't seal right. Do you think I need the stock KA 0 rings injector to get it to fit right? My fuel rail isn't stock either, does that have anything to do with it?

In one of the pics on the link i posted, says "oem spec". So maybe ka o-rings and sr o-rings are different.

Do you have the stock fuel rail to try. Install them into that and see if they fit. That would rule out the aftermarket fuel rail.

I don't have the stock fuel rail to try it out on. Could it be because of my aftermarket manifold? I'm trying everything I can to get these injectors to work or I'll be out off 350 bucks lol
