View Full Version : Wiring up dual electric fans S15 SR swap please help!!

hey guys. im gonna start out by saying i dont know anything about wiring... at all. i hate it. in order for my swap to be complete i need to wire up my electric fans i bought. they have a plug for each one but i have no idea where to start... i want the fans to turn on when i turn the ignition. but wont that keep my motor from warming up?? idk what to do but someone please help me figure out how to do this!!!! im a complete noob when it comes to wiring so if someone could walk me through this i would really really really appreciate it.

ive already done that and then when all the info comes up im completely lost because i dont understand wiring... thats what im saying i dont know what the fuck a resistor and shit is.... i just need it explained to me in dumbass terms

Buy a damn fan controller...or buy a relay and learn how to wire it up utilizing a 12v switched power source/wire in a manual switch.

ill tell you how i wired my slim fans , i dont know wich fans yur talking about , but if you a sr water temp sensor
and fals or flexlites ill hook it up ya noob , no offense ! you iz what u iz

dude all you need to do is get a fan controller, for a single or dual fan setup.
I bought mine from advance auto parts. Super simple to wire up. you can adjust the temp as well.

Always alway always always relay isolate your fans. mine would burn out any controller within a year. even a nice dif i Burt through
