I got an offer from a local shop for $500 and a hookup on parts for my wrx.

Car is under a salvage title.

Mods and stuff:

Megan coilovers on the rear
Lowering springs on the front
HKS exhaust (legit)
Volk GTP rims (front left has small lip damage from accident)
All tires are perfect and new except for the damaged front left tire
Chassis has 117xxx miles
Engine and tranny has less mileage (Unknown)
Nismo GT shift knob
5 speed swap
VLSD from the factory

It's the LE edition which has leather seats and sunroof. There's 1 tear in the drivers seat and one tear in the rear seat.

Car was very clean before the accident.

Everything runs good and smooth.

Damage is the driver fender, driver door, some suspension parts for the front left, and a crack in the windshield (could be small frame damage).

Airbags did not deploy.

0 rust.

part that baby out and you will get way more that 500..honestly it only looks like you need a door and fender and some front suspension..and you will get3 times as much!

You could sell the 5-speed swap itself for $500. SE lip = $100, Spoilerless trunk = WIN

It's just a door, fender, and some links....

You can fix it all for less then $300-500 EASY. 240sx parts are cheap as shit here in Chicago at least.

I parted one out that was super fucked up and made more the 2000 easy the volks you could sell for 400-800 if you fixed them but be a fool and take 500

since not many people like to buy crashed cars i still think you could get alot more than 500 for this in parts.. the wheel looks like its fine but not 100% sure. you could sell those for that much. and engine and tranny like 600... it may not happen as fast as selling it all as one piece but parting it out will ultimately get you more cash. you could even invite people to just bring tools strip parts they need and negotiate your price.

i think you should find a shop and get an estimate on just the frame pull. if it even needs it. go buy a door and a fender and some sideskirts and itl look fine again. or part it. if i had a grand id buy it minus the wheels.

engine alone with transmission is worth 600 easy wheels 600 to 700 5 speed swap 300 to 400. dash 250. dude easily make more then 500.

You don't get it, if you part it out then you will get more. The cost of labor for part out, storage, and time to sell parts to customers is something else you need to add on top of the $500, so don't go asking people to buy your car for $1000, that is a loss of profit whoever buys it. For a car like yours I never pay over $500, I usually try and get them for $200-$400.
