It is hard to get into 1st gear, Reverse, and SOMETIMES 3rd gear and 4th gear. I literally exert too much force just to get into gear and it pisses me off. And I'm thinking it's a synchro problem but like I can be wrong. What could be wrong with my transmission
If it is the synchro, generally, how much does it cost to have that rebuilt at a shop? Should I go to the dealership for this kind of job?
If I'm wrong about it being the synchros, what other things could I check to see what's wrong? Could it be the clutch? if it is why would it be acting up in 3 different gears in the transmission?

how is your mt fluid? what are you running? has it been doing it for long? check how much fluid comes out when you do drain it, might be a leak? If all else fails just buy a used one. I'll sell you mine for 2 bills.

I haven't checked it since I got the car but I'll definitely check it out. But I'll check it out tomorrow because it's night time here lol

my clutch seems to engage/disengage fine, since i replaced the slave cylinder and eliminated the dampening box. But i have trouble shifting in reverse and i have some slight grinding in 1st and 2nd, other gears are smooth. i too am thinking its my synchros and i might have to rebuild my tranny. maybe put new tranny fluid in to see if it helps.
how much does it cost on average to rebuild the ka tranny?

I wanna know the girl on zoopreme's pic.
But for a rebuild... I remember mine cost about $250 or so.

it would be cheaper to buy a used (good) trans vs getting it rebuilt...
depending on the mechanic 900-1300 (to get it rebuilt)
Used from Zilvia/junkyard 200-400
-when was the last time you changed the trans oil?
-Was the clutch ever replaced?

make sure the slave is fully engaging the throw out bearing. if its not, bleed it try again. if it is could be your synchros double clutch should go in smoother than before. best of luck
