driveshaft conundrum

I know ive seen it everywhere :eek2:ka24e and a ka24de :barf: have interchangable trannys but i have a 90 single cam and a 97 de tranny. my shaft is too long about 2 inches over the yoke. I think i would need the driveshaft of the s14 to fit but im not sure. i just want to know yes or no.but im pretty sure ya i would:smash:
