I have a 91 240sx with a redtop sr20. Its a stock t25 running at 7psi.
A few months ago began my bogging/ loss of power issue. Right now everytime i push on the gas, the rpms drop and the car almost dies. If i barely tap the gas sometimes i can get up to speed but it is like a 90sec 0-60. Everytime i go to downshift and i try to rev it up, the rpm's drop and the car losses power/ bogs so i just let go of the clutch and the car jumps of course. Everytime i go to a stop the car dies and i can barely get up to speed out of first if im lucky. Whenever i am able to get up to speed in any gear, i press on the gas and it bogs so i repeatedly have to slightly press the pedal over and over again.
Do you guys have any suggestions? i have already done so much and its just becomming a big money pit
I have changed:
1. fuel pump
2.fuel filter
3. MAF
4. Spark Plugs
5.CAS (with another used one)
6.TPS (adjusted it to .45 VDC)
ive checked for leaks around the intercooler piping and the blow off valve/FPR/turbo timer(which also displays boost) vacuum hoses and its all nice and tight.
Any suggestion would be helpful, thanks

um im no pro at this but do you have a cat cause the cat could be clogged and cause you car to bog down. It happened to my buddies focus and it never worked the same again till we put a high flow on.

Check ecu for codes, fix or repair any problems. Then check the base timing with a light, set to 15deg. Sounds like boostleak, but you confirmed no leaks, I'm thinking timing! or maybe 87oct, Nahhh, Timing

I took it to a regular shop around here and they said they couldnt check the computer. my friend said that the ecu is obd 1(or 2) or something like that and thats why they couldnt check it. How do i go about checking the ecu codes?

Did you check the rubber fuel hose that connects the feul pump (the submersibles hose). Mine was boggin out and couldn't go past 3000 RPM. I swapped out a lot of things and when i got to the fuel pump I had a rip on the hose so basically when the car need more fuel the fuel pump would pump it, but the hose shot it right back into the tank.

I didnt think about that. I will check that tomorrow. the first thing i checked when this first happened is the fuel pump and it checked good. but i didnt think of that line. thanks ill see what happens

check your coil pack wires that was my problem. REMEMBER TEST BEFORE BUYING ALL KINDS OF CRAP, also check your MAF, check for leaky Orings (injectors)

Make sure your using 91 octane or higher. Do you smell any fuel when it bogs?
And to check ECU for codes, you must unbolt the ECU so you can see the little light, make sure the key is in the ON position I believe it is, turn the screw on the ECU to "Test" or "Diagnosis" whatever I can't remember exactly, then turn it back and it should start flashing. I forget the exact readings but you can look it up, like what a short flash and what a long flash is

This will happen if your CAS or base timing is way off...
