View Full Version : my car keeps stalling and wont rev over 2500 rpm
okay so i clean my throttle body today and put every thing on back to normal and i start my car and it stalls, i start it again and and i cant get it to rev past 2500 rpm, i reset the ecu, the check engine light code was 12 , the Air flow meter circuit, so i have no idea what to do, can anyone help me?
sounds like u forgot to plug something back into the intake hose you should check that
ya i checked that, ididnt find any unplugged hoses
it could be electrical connection

Umm, the problem is the MAFS.
Make sure its wired properly and that all connections are secured.
if it still acts funny, borrow a friend's and see if that fixes the problem.

ECU sounds like it is in Safe mode. Reset it, check the obvious and try again. Check all grounds!!

there should be a brown plug on the MAF sensor.
That is probably not plugged in all the way, so check that

Did you get any of the cleaner on the conections, cause If you did and the cleaner is still in the connecter it wont run right, just check, and I fit is dry it our completely, and then reset ecu, that should do it.:bow:

It should definately be the MAFS. If you unplug the MAFS the car wont idle over 2500 RPM. So, I'm thinking that is the problem. It does it on every 240 I've ever done.
