I dunno what's up with the hotside swap, but I have the full HX40 on my Rx7 and that thing spools about as fast as my buddy's Rx7 with a GT35R. Insane turbo.

I had to replace the VERY large exhaust housing i had because it was meant for a larger diesel. It was larger than most and I didn't want to mess with the original w/g actuator.

From my research this hotside would spool very fast on a 3L... Especially since its thermocoated. It was going to be for a 500hp daily driven street car. 600hp capable...

You don't have to run one, but it would be more beneficial for your spool time to use one on a smaller motor.
