I own an 89 240sx hatch, and my problem is that, I will be traveling at sometimes 45mph to 60mph or 65mph and my car will stop accelerating as if the governor kicks in at 125mph. I have done a ton of research and no leads or results, I figure its the ECU or my speed sensor, but id like to know what some of you guys thought before I went out and spent money on something that might not even help. I would appreciate any input or suggestions,
Thankyou.

First off it has absolutely nothing to do with your speed sensor. Second off most likely its not your ECU but something connected to it.
Seriously this is getting into an area that you might not be able to do it yourself. It could be your maf, it could be a number of things.
Do you know how to trouble shoot? Have you read up on our cars? Have you taken auto courses in school?
Only reason I am asking is you may not be able to diagnose your problem without prior ability and knowledge.

You say you have done research. What have you actually looked up or researched on your problem?

Ive called around, and Nissan said they wanted 150$ to just find out what the problem was and Ive spent hours googling and theres been nothing really clear and to the point, its just a list of all expensive options and I just don't want to blow a bunch of money on something that isn't even wrong. So i turned to Zilvia.

Well truthfully you have an issue that is hard to trouble shoot over the net. We can tell you to check things but your still going to be hunting in the dark.
If you seriously do not know how to do this? Then you should find someone who can.
Oh and there are plenty of Independent Nissan mechanics that will trouble shoot your car for less than Nissan. I get the
Oh and expect to spend hours researching this stuff , its par for the course. How do you think most of us learned. We either were taught from people who know first hand in person and or we studied it for hours on end and then went and applied the studies to real life.
I suggest you do the same and I seriously do not think you have. You are already complaining about doing a couple of hours of googling. LOL
Shit when I want to learn things I could spend 5-6 hours at a time researching the shit without a break.
