View Full Version : CA Hydraulic hood props! S-13/S-14!!!

As it turns out I can't use these because my hood sucks so my loss your gain. These are bolt-in hydraulic hood shocks that replace the annoying hood prop rod. The shocks are in good shape and are definitely strong enough to hold up a stock hood. Everything you need is included and pictured...

hope you have these in a week.

I have to have someone hold up on my hood while I pull the cable, cause if not I cant open it, and this look like it would fix it or atleast help it.

yeah if you have a carbon fiber hood these shocks are too strong and will crack the hood right? It happend to a buddy of mine

It depends on the hood. The shitty hoods (like mine) aren't strong enough and may crack or buckle... If I REALLY wanted to I could probably fill up the hood with foam around the edges and they would work fine.

Sure thing. Even a part number would be helpful.

As for the carbon hoods, I had a CF hood on my integra back in the day and just used one shock instead of both, and it was fine. And that was a cheapie CF hood, too.

yeah that has happend to me before but i don't post Sold To Me if it really wasn't sold because that gets people pissed off like the sellers but im not like that I actually bought them...as for the part number ill let you know im quite sure they work great the seller is an honest seller ill post pics up once they are on my car
