For sale is a Brand New, Never been mounted Authentic BRS wide body conversion for the 1993-1999 Mazda Rx-7 sports car. This conversion kit was only made in limited quantities and is very rare. We originally planned to build a Unlimited Class RedLine time attack car using this kit, but we are having to put our funding towards another program.
FITMENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Fitment is the best in the business. This kit literally snaps together. No bending, heat gunning, re shaping or anything. This is the real deal. Fits like a factory part!!!!
When BRS originally designed this conversion it was not created to be a simple "body kit" or add on. It was meant to be a truly functional aerodynamic enhancement. The whole frontal area of the car was changed. The front bumper, fenders, and hood were given a different angle of attack to create frontal down force. The front bumper has an integrated venturi and features a complete front under tray which snaps into the front bumper. The sides kirts incorporate a belly pan for the bottom of the car, along with functional ducted side vents that snap into the fenders. The fenders themselves feature built in vents that remove high pressure air build up. Even the rear quarter panels snap into the sideskirts to help remove any air obstructions. There is also a functional rear diffuser that guides the under body air out the back. The wing comes as a blade, add your own stands for the desired application.
It really is unfortunate that we have to let this item go. We had big plans for this conversion, and hope it will be going to a good home to be used properly.
