Hey guys i am just gauging some interest here. I am military up at Vandenberg AFB in Lompoc, CA. I am wanting to try and get an event up and going here on the flightline. Itll be drift for sure but maybe also autox. just like they do over at nellis in Las Vegas. I am just gauging interest to see if its even worth my trouble to get all the big wigs involved. I would keep the Entrance fees as LOW as possible (hopefully well under 100, for an all day event), and id like to see all money go to charity or some kind of fund on base. I know its a drive for folks down south or a little north, but with the (hopefully) low entrance fee it could make up for it. Just post here if you would be interested in something like this, or PM me. Thank you.

the one event that was scheduled to be at Nellis this year was canceled, lol. We have one this weekend at the speedway though. Good luck getting the backing on base Joe, it would be dope to see this actually happen. If it became a regular thing i might just visit during an event and give Jason a couple of lessons.

haha i know right. i mean they built a HUGE off road vehicle course on base, for everyone with off road trucks. im not asking them to build shit. they do not use the runway but once in awhile, so its worth a shot.

lovdrifting52- yea it seems like a little drive but for a 50$ drift all day fee isnt it worth it? i want it to be as cheap as possible. unlike the 160ish prices i see at other places...

1. Its too far from LA.
2. Not enough sufficient tire stores in the area.
3. Cops in Lompoc & CHP in Santa Barbara

I don't see them letting you use it just because if it is still being used cause of FOD. But good luck man it'd be nice to see it happen though.
