Anyway.... Thank you thank you, the WRX is my dude's, and the fastback is mine, the NISMO (God love 'em) is gone from the windshield, and the stripes, while attractive in their own right, are also about to be gone. The problem there is that they're painted.

My 'her'story - I had an s13 fastback when I was 18 that I loved, and the timing chain went and the car was totalled by the insurance company. Thus began the love for Nissans. I LOVE S13s!! I also have a 1992 240sx, red fastback, that I bought with the intention of dropping an sr20 into. It has the cleanest subframe any of us have ever seen!! But I hate waiting... and when I saw the s13 blacktop in the car in the pic, I had to have her!! So now I have 2 240s, one that runs 13.8s at about 11lbs, and one that runs, period.

The red one is for sale now, if anyone is interested!!

I'll post more pics asap - the swap was flawless - it looks better than stock IMO.

I'm rockin 17s in front, 18s in rear, and my suspension set up is Eibach Sportlines with KYB AGX Struts. I love to autocross as much as I like to drag.

And for anyone interested, I'm also a car model and some of my stuff can be seen at www.geocities.com/aurafemme

First, the wheels ¡V purely cosmetic reasons. With my suspension setup, the front has a slightly more aggressive drop, so the 17s fill the gap very nicely. I¡¦ve got auto x next Sunday, so we¡¦ll see how she handles. (I took some digi pix of both cars, I need to download them and I¡¦ll post them tonight.)

Second, Mike, bring it on! We¡¦ll have to meet somewhere between here and Cali though ¡V pick the state! ƒº

WTH is wrong with your keyboard?

Differential diameter wheels is USUALLY just for looks BUT it has one really interested performance characteristic that I wanted to explore and that is the concept of tire volume. By running a 17x9 and 18x9.5, I SHOULD be able to get the benefits of a wider tire in the back without affecting tire volume bias and changing the characteristics of the car. Basically I'm trying to get more foward traction without making it push.

For show though? 19x9.5/10.5 Nismo LMGT4. Bling.

All of this was done, while my hand was taped to my steering wheel, a la deathmatch style.. yeah, I live life on the edge.

when my girl friends ask me to model with them in their cars, I politely tell them "NO, I would neva do such a thing in a car." Instead, make the suggestion to model elsewhere with them.. somewhere classy, quiet, and even romantic. Why "model" in a car, when you can model on a remote beach somewhere? Models have standards, be sure to read the handbook (I hope you saw Zoolander, thats elementary, modeling-101, for us models).

Oh yeah, the advice I gave you about "saying NO!" to airbag suspension, also applies to airbag (or silicone) augmentation. Remember, you may have friends who consider themselves "fellow models" try to give you advice, even though they arent certified models. They may say things like, "Sure J, augmentation is okay" but dont give in to the peer pressure. They are the same girls who will say "Sure J, take a hit from this here crack pipe." or.. "Sure J, have unprotected sex with Rocko here" or.. "Sure J, Beetlejuice from the Howard Stern show is a really good guy." -- when the pressure gets high, remember what your friendly neighborhood old_s13 says:

The zip ties are nothing - did you notice the decorative, non-functioning, leftover fuel canister?! I believe that the p.s. was supposed to be installed on the other stut tower, so when they put it there, they couldn't figure out how to make it stay there. Also, the hot pipe made of heater hosing - yea, that has to go... I can't believe he ran higher boost and got away with it for as long as he did. I'm having some aluminum piping fabed for it by my dude Kevin. Pulling the NOS, putting in my dual stage boost controller, thinking about a super afc, but other than the little ambiguities, he did a good job with the install. It looked a lot better than the ones I saw at Hot Import Daze on Saturday, to be perfectly honest. There was an s13 redtop that looked like my little sister could have swapped it better. I like my zip ties! :P
