i removed my whole exhaust so i can replace my bushings because they are all worned out and exhaust is sagging to the ground. (scraping too). i have an aluminum one piece driveshaft laying around from my old car (totaled it took the whole front end). so while the exhaust is out it is easy to the replace oem driveshaft. my question is does an aluminum one piece driveshaft needs a balancing?
anyone?

i dont think so , if there is no significant damage to it then it probably does not have to be balanced

Any driveshaft needs balancing, but most are balanced when they're made. If you have just made one and need it balanced, most driveshaft shops will balance them for $50 or so.

the thing is my aluminum driveshaft came from my old car which mean my aluminum one piece driveshaft from dss is a used one. since it is a used one do still need to balance it?

just fucking balance it...
no you don't need to...it was already in a working car. Did you drop it? was it sitting undersomething that would cause it to warp and unbalance?
who cares what the answer is, why would you want to worry about it not being balanced while you drive it?
pay the man 50 and get it balanced. it'll solve your worry.

Car feels like shit, drives like shit when shafts are balanced....
Once they're balanced they're balanced unless tweaked(which means they should do the metal "float test" to verify integrity).

Once they're balanced they're balanced unless tweaked(which means they should do the metal "float test" to verify integrity).
But also should check for play in the joints as well
