Need Suggestion to fix this Problem

My muffler is heating up and the bottom of my bumper is starting to "bow". It's is not metling but it's warped. I know I can lower the muffler, but that would look dumb. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

is this stock muffler/exhaust or aftermarket?
how close does your muffler sit next to car at that point?

It's aftermarket and I'm not sure how close it is to the bumper. I will check and repost the measurements.

It is very close,but it will look dumb if moved. Can you get heat sheilds and if so,where?

you can buy stuff that looks like sheets of insulation, its silver (like under hood liners for turbo cars) just cut a little piece out and stick it between the muffler and the bumper
