S13 License Plate Illumination

Hmm. Looking at my license plate area today, I don't see any bulbs or wiring for illumination... If you guys could post up pictures of how it looks stock that'd be great. Thanks. (on an S13)

The wires go through a hole in the bumper support if i remember correctly. So they might be hiding in there somewhere. Sorry dont have any pix,

yeah you will see them from inside the trunk area directly under the latch then they go out and through the bumper support.

Shit! No wonder why I couldn't tell wtf was going on. Apparently the person who owned the car before me decided to spray paint the light housing. Not only that but the bulbs look to be about 10+ years old...

Do they make LED bulbs that fit the standard sockets or would I have to go about custom rigging something up?
