lets see if anyone can help me out with this.

i hav a 93 ka24de s13. i hav chain rattle, but thats not what im concerned with. when im cruising on the freeway at about 3k once in a while it feels like something is pulling my car back, kind of like when a strong wind hits ur car head on. it happens quickly and not that frequently, but when it does happen it happens more than once. im getting pretty good mpg. i had an idle problem but i cleaned my iavc and it is fine now. i cant adjust my idle (yes i followed procedures, unhooked the tps then turned the screw then reconnected) but for some reason it didnt work. my timing is at ~20* my plugs are good and are firing. however once in a while i can hear my car misfiring, could it be a lean misfire? one or two of my injectors is ticking alot. sometimes my idle gets sputtery and shakes the hell out of my car. sometimes i think its a vac leak, sometimes i think its one of my injectors. idk what to think. can someone shed some light on pinpointing my problem? thanks zilvians!!

If it's red and from an altima and it's side-feed it'll work.
If you pulled out a "altima" injector from your ka and that fixed your problem the injector was bad.

To check your injectors do a power balance test. Start the engine and let it run. Pull the injector plug for one cyl. and see how far the engine drops in RPM. If there is a cyl. that doesn't drop as much RPM then that cyl. could be faulty.

Make sure you don't wear any loose clothing or anything that could get caught up in the engine while it's running.

Our injectors tick, it's normal.
