Nitrous FAQ's

ok i'm buying a full kit with lines and everything for a zex nitrous system. he said it's purged.. what does that mean.. can u guys help me out with things, like what questions should i ask  to make sure i'm getting a good buy and stuff. ok thanx

purging (not quite sure on this) is a special nozzle that you use to clean out the pipes of the nos system (again i might be talkin out of my ass so correct me if im wrong please)  all i know is that when you press a button a bunch of something spays out of a nozzle you can place anywhere.

the purge system "cleans out" the nitrous feed lines of air pockets, and allows a consistent flow of nitrous so there are no hiccups! it is a button you push just before you "arm" the system for use. you will run the copper tube somewhere to the outside of the car. some guys run it so it blows UP the windshield......it's cool as sh*t! it blows a white, smokeyish mist......DON"T stick your hand in front of it!! check out the NOS website at www.holley.com ........lots of tech info!
