R32 gauge cluster install

I was told the R32 gauge cluster should be able to go into a S13 but the harness seems too short for the cluster. Is there any modifications I can do to make it connect up right?

just do it the old fashioned way, cut the wires, add jumper pieces 6" or however long you need, and solder it back on.

Cluster ==wire==(Splice)--new wire--(Splice)==wire==Connector

There should be no reason for it to not work. And if that does happen then check and make sure you got the wires right and the connections are good.

is the r32 a cluster a plug and play swap or does the harness/connector have to be altered, other than the length issue?
