Ok so i have about 7 or 8 batteries laying around the house from over the years. I was thinking the other day about what i can get out of them. Since local auto shops take in batteries as a core charge... would they ever consider exchanging one brand new battery for a certain amount of used batteries ?

lately i don't have the money to even buy a brand new battery so i was thinking of trying this.

i don't think any shop is going to take them. a shop will only be allowed to return one core per one new battery.

do your homework, there are centers that will pay for batteries, 5-12 dollars per battery.

Scrap yards, and recycling centers pay by the pound. The price varies by day as the market price fluctuates.

Winner winner, chicken dinner. We get 9 a battery locally, 15 if you wanna travel. For us it's easier to get the 9 and save time.
