I have just fitted a Momo steering wheel to my uk spec 95 s14, and was wondering if anyone had found a way to keep the pasenger airbag active by fooling the airbag computer into thinking the drivers airbag was still connected!? ie buy measuring the resistance of airbag and fitting a resistor of that value!

Although it is not impossible, it has yet to be done or proven. The way it is wired as you know, is if one is unplugged, the other ceases functioning and notifies the airbag cpu to kill the circuit, and won't turn back on until reset.

my miata friend tells me to tell YOU to use a 3ohm resistor. to fake the control unit that has airbags on it. hope that helps.
