I have a 93 240 with a RB20. I bought it already swapped. The guy that swapped the motor did a really nasty wiring job as far as the wires going to the ECU.
I was trying to be smart and clean up some of the wires that didnt look like they were needed.
So I went back to start the car and the fuel pump isnt working. I dont here any whine when I put it in accesory.
Can anybody tell me what the wire may look like going to the ECU if there is one?
Swap wiring is not my strong point, Im ok at diagnosing but I dont understand what wires you keep from the old harness, and the new ones from the motors that are used to get the motor running.

Also I know the fuel pump is functioning I hard wired it just to make sure it didnt crap out and it turned on.

Hmmm. I would look at the FSM or any of the wiring swap guides out there. I know on the SR20 it's a switchable ground that's controlled by the ECU that runs to the fuel pump relay. In theory you could wire a relay in to a 12v source and bypass it, but I would just look at the ECU wiring guide for the car and the ECU.

hard to say .

i think the fuel pump has nothing to do with any of the wiring harness in the engine bay.

all you have is the fuel pump fuse in the fuse box on the passenger side in the engine bay.
i could be wrong though. check the fuse first , if thats ok then check if there is power going to your fuel pump with a multimeter. measure the voltage at the clip for the fuel pump in your trunk.

Yeah i checked both already and i do have power to them with my test light.
Also i dont think i hear the relay kicking in if that helps
