Hello People of zilvia!!
I Own a 1998 s14 silvia SE Nonturbo Face lift and have Recently blown the diff
the mechanic that has the Car at the moment Says that i must Get the Excact same diff (r180 with Abs aparntly) Is this true? And maybe Any pointers to a stronger diff? or conversion?

Im not sure if its the differential or the driveshaft that are different from abs to non abs 240's
You can search though i know its been covered before i just cant remember the exact answer :P

All S14 diffs are R200. The ABS equipped models are the viscous R200V.

An R180 has nothing to do with your car.

Since you have an SE then u should have a 5 lug pattern on your wheel hubs a J30 is an easy upgrade and u can find one relatively cheap. Make sure u get the axels' although u may not need them. A j30 is a great diff upgrade on these cars and they practically bolt right up, they can handle a decent amount of power, and should give u some peace of mind if you decide to increase your power range.
