When my 89 engine is cold and I open the radiator cap should I be able to see the radiator without and fluid in there? Upon glancing in, i don't see much liquid, yet my coolant resivor is still within levels.. any ideas? Can I add coolant right into the cap hole? How much do I add? Until it fills right up? To my understanding there should be no air in the system right?

Thanks for the help,

Kevin

add and add and add until it won't go any more. make sure your bleeder bolt is removed (on intake manifold near head & front of motor).

Can you clarify where the bleeder bolt is? Is it near the o2 sensor? I can't seem to find it. Is there any pics you can supply?

If he is a super n00b then he problally doesn't know what you said. Meaning he doesn't know where the head is or what an intake mani is.

You may want to draw a picture or reference a pic

my radiator never filled to the top, you could see the coolant it, but it was never completely full.
