hello everyone i have a 97 s14 with a s14 sr20det blacktop engine swap. im having some trouble starting it in the morning. in order to start i have to be pumping the gas while cranking and it struggles sometimes. when the car is warmed up and starts fine with no problems. engine has roughly 50k miles on it. My car does have a walbro 255 fuel pump. No mods done completely stock at 6psi. anyone have any ideas? thanks

Is it cold where you live? Try putting a peice of cardboard in front of your rad to help with cold starts.. lol

Did you adjust your IAC(Idle Air Control Valve) at all? I adjusted mine once and was stalling, too low will make it a hard start as well. Don't go crazy with it though, no more then 3 full turns. Another thing is check your MAF(Mass Air Flow) and for possible boost leak areas(considering its a fresh swap). Thats a good start but you will need to list if you were tinkering and such due to that information can change the approach towards the repair.
