What are your thought about swapping in an SR20DET, I know its been done before (however I have no been able to identify who, or any specs on those cars).
So I guess, I'm asking if one of you could point me in the direction of someone who has done it before, or give me your .02 worth on the matter of putting an SR into a Mazda..

ive riden in an FD that was SR swapped, and it felt great.

the V8 swap would be easier because there are kits to make it bolt up, but the SR is not as common and as far as i know doesnt have any direct fit kits so it will take much more time and fab work...

Platinumpresto had a KA swap done to his but if i recall the shop fucked him over, but he would be most knowledgeable about it.

the only other car i think that had SR would be chris forsburg and tony angelo? search their names on google with fc3s

Just do a s13, direct bolt in, and way better suspension and aftermarket.

FC sucks as far as suspension and smaller aftermarket.

Im guessing you dont have a runing FC3S, hence why the desire to put a piston motor in it.. a nice setup 13bt is a blast to drive dude.
