I guess this might be a noob question, but I feel like I have searched for awhile and could not find anything. So anyways, I have to hook up some gauges as I am about to go KA-T and am wondering where to put the wires from the engine bay to the interior. Is there a grommet in the firewall to put the wires through, or what is the best option? I do not want to take apart the dash or drill hole in the firewall if I do not have to. All help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Use the same grommet your engine harness runs through. It's by the lines to your heater core.

This is going to be your best bet. There are plenty of ways to do it, but this will probably be the easiest way to do so. Just hit google or search for it. It's not that hard. Matter fact go look in your own engine bay and just find a route where you can run it through cause I know it's not that hard to find a hole and say oh hey I can run the line through here.

ya its harder than you think,I dont want to be running wires through the passenger side all the way to the other side of the car and have to take a bunch of stuff apart,I thought there would be an easier way

Your absolutely right. I don't know why I didn't see this. Run the line through the crack of the hood near the windshield and roll your window down and run it to the inside on top of your dash.

Haha my buddy got a DUI that required him to have Interlock installed in his car- you know, the breathalyzer hooked up to your ignition... The guy who installed it wanted to do exactly this... run the wire around the OUTSIDE of the A-pillar. After telling the guy that wasnt gonna fly, I cant beleive my buddy let him continue with the install.
OP, the best way is to put the seats back, climb on your back, and look up behind the dash... there are a few options, easiest way to find one is to physically look- and to do that you kinda gotta get your face up in there.

Hood release cable grommet. It's big enough to accept 5-6 wires of typical 18-20 gauge.

Go wireless, you can get the newer stand alone or whatever that thing was I saw I forget and as long as you that ECM and the sens you want, you can get the readings through wifi. NO JOKE look it up.

like I said I dont wont to have to make new holes, checked the hood release,I can see where it goes to the firewall and can follow it from the latch to about right behind the headlight, anyone know the route it takes in between there?thanks
