on my SR front clip, i cant find the bolt that holds in the motor mount, im to the point where i pull it out (the motor/tranny)... do i need to be under it or is it inside the bay? also what about the tranny crossmember and mount.. are those hard to get off? i searched but came up with two results..
thanks

if you are trying to take the motor mounts off the clip or putting em on they are a TOTAL PITA. it took me about an hour to get the drivers side nut on and tight. and passenger side is easy to see. move the wires outta the way and stick a shop light or whathaveya and you should see it. hope that helps. might be hard to see but its there. prepare to cuss the everlivin **** outta your car. :D

are you taking them off from under the car? if not ... why aren't you??!! it's how i did it and took me about 10min. just find the nut under the crossmember and take off the nut!

Those gear wrenches really help with taking out motor mounts. Not enough room for a ratchet, and a regular wrench is sloooooow.

There are two nuts that hold the mounts on. One is below the crossmember, other is above it.

Easiest way... get a ratcheting box wrench (godsend...! i think its 14mm), and unbolt the one on the BOTTOM.

Then pull that sucker out.

Good luck

but i dont think a regular lateral wrench will fit... i dont think there is enough room... you are talking about a rachet-style wrench correct? i just dont see how i woul be able to have it like that...
help!!!!!! lol

use a long extender and securly tap it in place with a hammer.
