Benefit of no 02 sensor in the exhaust?

Probably a dumb question just curious on why everyone does it and what are the good/bad reasons for having it like that?

There are Zero advanatges of removing your o2 sensor. Not only will it run like shit in open loop, but it will be pig rich and throw a code.

Obviously at WOT it makes no difference, but for daily driving it does.

Only good reason not to run the stock o2 sensor is when your car is fully tuned on a PFC, including light throttle and the o2 feedback option is turned off.
