Ad Description:
------------------------------------------------------
The time has come for me to sell my Z. It is a 1990 Aztec Red 300zx Twin Turbo. I have owned this car for 3 years and have done a lot of work to it. I have done all the work myself. It has many mods and new parts which I will list at the end of this ad. First I would like to mention the things about the car that I would fix if I were to keep it.
Hatch – I would replace it. The stock foam rubber wing is peeling at the corners and is causing rust points at the edge.
Defrost – The air mixer needs a new servo motor because the defrost vents do not open.
Passenger side upper control arm – The bearings are shot. I have new Koyo bearings for it but the old ones need to be pressed out and the new ones pressed in. They are SPL upper control arms.
Battery tray – mine was rusted out so I removed it. I would purchase a new one, have it welded back in and treat the entire area to prevent rust.
About the car – I bought the car in November of 2007. I had it for 3 days and the heads blew. I replaced the engine with a JDM auto donor. The engine was in great condition with good compression. 18 months later, I pulled the engine again because my driver’s side turbo was blowing smoke. I upgraded the turbos to Stage 2’s (T-28 compressor wheel with stock housings). They are good for up to 24 lbs of boost and 550hp capable with supporting mods. And I do have supporting mods.
