vacuum leak?

I would check for leaks too. I would also make sure the pump is working and coming on too you could have someone turn the key to the on position(but dont crank it over) while you have the line in a plastic bottle and see if your getting a good steady stream. Or you could use a fuel pressure regulator if you have one.

bust out the test kit and check your injectors for proper res/function..sounds like an injection may be going bad, but its hard to tell w/ only bogging as a symptom...

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to on, but don't start the car?

Also check engine grounds in the back of the engine bay that connect to the firewall.

Also have you pulled 1 spark plug at a time to see if the problem doesn't get worse on one cylinder (which would indicate there is a problem with that one cylinder.)

sounds like you guys like checking hard stuff first it could be a stuck pcv valve or a dirty throttle body you would be amazed at what a little dirt would do in butterfly and spray some starting fluid around to check for that vac. leak go for easy stuff first not expensive

Update:
Ok guys i bought a new cap and rotor and that wasnt the problem. I have spark in all of the cylinders and checked for leaky injectors. Everything was fine busted out my test light and still the same Sh*t everything is okay wire wise. I bought a new tps sensor and cleaned the throttle body. Its running better but still not good enough to drive. So now i went to the fuel pump. the fuel pump cover had some rust in it and the fuel pump pocket was dirty. But i kno the previous owner always put cheap gas and the car was sitting there all the time. Also i always kept on driving the car on low fuel(money problems)So i think that its the fuel pump. I orderd a walboro or however u call it fuel pump 255lph lmfao for a sohc bone stock. but i have a question do u think that small sensor thats connected to the airbox have a roll in the bogging not the maf the other small sensor that is connected to the maf. I gonna put some seafoam in the gas tank and seafoam the 240 in general maybe thats the problem too much carbon build up.But the ecu seems to be fine cause i swaped it out with my friends and it was ok. So im still in the shit but im hoping its the fuel pump.

Another thing is when i unplug the tps sensor it works fine but i replaced the sensor so im not sure whats going on, but i think fuel is the issue.

sure sounds like you like throwing a ton of money at a likely very small problem.

I would think it is a vac issue

Your 100% right but how am i suppost to fix a vac issue. Like i rather have to rebuild the motor than do that kinda stuff. Money isnt really the issue just finding the problem. Cause i already put like 200 bones in it. Still nothing improving.

SO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WAT CAN BE WRONG WITH THE VAC.!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE.

get a can of intake cleaner or brake cleaner and spray your vacuum lines. once you hit the leak it's gonna act weird then you look for a bubble on the lines. and there's your leak. replace it and you should be good.

i think that's one way to do it right?

yea ur right i havent done it yet. But i was talking to my dad and we came to the conclusion that its most likely its going to be the fuel pump cause it seems like its not gettting enough air. As far as the fuel regulator i highly doubt that its the problem because no black smoke is coming out cause were burning to much gas.

I had the same problem like 3 or 4 times, all different reasons. One time it was because the positive charge to my battery was shorting out and caused it to sputter and chug, and the second time was rotten fuel lines, which then led to the fuel pump going out, or the spark plus, either one is bad and misfiring or all of them aren't timed correctly, or your spark plug cable lines could be shot. Or just and important your distributor could be fried too. and finally it could be a dirty or clogged carburetor, normally you can get carburetor cleaner and just soak it and it will clear up or you have to buy a new one i hope you figure it out and I hope this helps.

The fuel pump doesn't have anything to do with getting air.

You need to find a friend with a clue, or pay someone because you are in over your head.

Pretty sure he has a KA....which isn't carbed....... Just sayin

Since you're throwing money at it left and right, replace your fuel filter. Since you said there was a bunch of crap in the tank and previous owner used crappy gas, I'd get a new one.

i had a simliar situation, since you mentioned the car sat for a time...

i bought my car from the previous owner who had it parked in his driveway for months at a time during the last 5 years that he owned it. appartently, if a car sits for so long then it needs a fuel stabilizer added to the fuel otherwise the fuel gets gunky and clogs(looked crystallized in my fuel tank.)
car wouldn't start and i knew it was the fuel pump after no sound at startup as well as voltage test. so i had to replace the fuel pump, fuel filter, and EVERY fuel related hose(cracking and clogged with dirty fuel), especially the hose that cracked and leaked fuel from the gas tank like a waterfall after i filled it for the first time, what a waste of gas. car ran again but had some hesitation/bogging down. so i then cleaned all the injectors, bought a new fuel rail, nismo fpr, and fuel gauge; as well as a full tune-up. what a difference the tune up did as well as cleaning the injectors, no more hesitation/bogging.

Your fucking stupid that was the biggest waste of a post I've ever seen on Zilvia. He was saying your information about carbuerators was COMPLETELY irrelevant because KA's don't have a carb. KA is the engine we are talking about here. We don't care what you have, it is completely irrelevant to the topic of the thread.

And to the OP, I did the same shit as you, replaced every damn thing there was to replace besides the vacuum lines. I'd just save yourself some time and pay someone to replace them all for you, every single one of them is probably cracked or ready to go if it hasen't already (looking on the previous owner you said had the car sitting every once in awhile for bits at a time). I would do spark plugs, fuel filter and vacuum lines.

Oh and make sure the turbo is good and not whining, just sayin' cuz I had a SR once and the turbo went bad it made weird noises just sayin' (/sarcastic remark to noob statement above)
