hey guys, I just recently put in my nismo FPR with a fuel gauge, 740cc injectors and a z32 MAF and NGK iridium IX BKR8EIX along with my Enthalpy tuned ECU and the first thing I notice is that the FP is set at almost 100PSI! Anyways, i tried to adjust the dang thing but it seems that the FP doesn't move much if any no matter how I adjust the screw.

I am not sure if this is related to my high FP problem but I can't get any boost in my car. i can drive around the block normal but when i want the turbo to kick in it just Bogs/Sputters. I am running only 10PSI of boost too. Has anyone ever had this problem or does anyone know how to fix this fiasco??

Also, the Adjustment screw is touching the valve cover! ouch

here is a pic of the FPR and what the hell it's doing.

that top piece can turn as if you were unscrewing a coke bottle and now it sounds like air is flowing thru that area.

anyone else have this problem?

The line is not kinked though it may look like it, I got the fuel pressure down to the 40psi area but the car is running really lean at idle, but when i raise to fuel pressure to about 60psi the AF reading is around 14-15.5 while idling. I am not sure what the exact problem is but when I drive around the neighborhood about 30 mph with the fuel pressure at ~40 psi give or take the reading is about 14-15.5. any one faced this problem before?

Nismo FPR are really finicky. If it the top starts spinning, the top may be loose and is leaking air. Mine started leaking so I JB welded the top to the bottom piece.

Also, when youre checking your pressure, are measuring it with the vacuum line hooked up or not? Your supposed to measure the base pressure with the line off.

what's the difference between the readings?? I was told with the vac line off but I didnt think nothing of it. that's interesting.

And yes, that;s my exact problem! how long have you been using that JB weld FPR?

I appreciate it man.

You're supposed to measure the pressure with the vacuum line off. Difference in vacuum actually changes the pressure. Also, have you tried playing around with it by pushing in the screw? IIRC, it works on a happy medium. You have it too open, pressure builds up, you have it too tight, pressure builds up.
